Besides our web management and social network administration duties for existing clients, we have taken on new clients and run a successful event promotion for the Sonny Moorman Group in June...the Walter Trout - Sonny Moorman concert at Cincinnati Legends Nightclub on June 3rd. We've also added Welooti Taxi and author Ron Kovacks Jr. to our client list in June. The Welooti web site and Facebook page are finished, and are also listed on Google. Since we personally use Welooti Taxi's service, we wrote up some nice reviews that can be found in the search engine links for them, which has helped get them better ranking on YP.com, Yelp, and other web sites. We started out as clients of Welooti Taxi, and were approached by the owner to create his web site and Facebook page. We do highly recommend their service to our clients and friends, as they are the only taxi cab service in the city that seems to remember what "customer service" is all about. We have taken on more social media work in the last several months, mostly account set-up and administration. We are also happy to add St. Louis, MO based music artist Cee Cee James to our client list. Cee Cee is an up-and-comer on the Blues scene. She toured Europe early in 2011, and has had some great press in several music publications, including Blues Revue magazine. We're starting out by setting up an email newsletter for Cee Cee, and will be helping her promote her new CD that is slated to be released in the Spring. We also are doing more work for Cincinnati-based Bob Cushing by helping with adminsitration of his Facebook fan page, and his ReverbNation account. We are also taking on more "publicist-type" work for Sonny Moorman, and will be doing that on an "as needed" basis until more regular arrangements can be made. We helped promote the Sonny Moorman Group's New Year's Eve Party last December, and are happy to say that they had a capacity crowd show up for the event. We implemented promotion of the event through ReverbNation and Facebook Events, and also through Facebook pages advertising. We also created a ReverbNation Label account for Atlas Records (Macon, GA), and have the intergrated that with their Facebook label page. We also have added ReverbNation Pro site tools to the Atlas Records home site for both of their recording artists....videos and music, and will be adding the Tour widget for their artists this month. Due to all this, we limited on new jobs that we can take on in the way of creating new web sites and new site management. We will be continuing to service our current clients, and will be taking on mostly promotional work for our existing clients and new clients on a per-job basis.

We have been busy with our monthly edits of sites and pages, and we recently finished setting up the Sonny Moorman Group on ReverbNation, and installed the RN app (a.k.a Band Profile) on their band Facebook page. We were so impressed with all the web tools to propagte digital media there, that we decided to go "whole hog" and really dig in and get familiar with all the ReverbNation site features. We now offer set-up and administration of RN accounts to music artists. There are plans in the works to get the Atlas Records Facebook page connected to RN, too, as they do have accounts and apps for record labels. We also recently added an Artists Videos page to the Atlas Records home site, and embedded the recording artists' ReverbNation video widgets. To visit: www.atlasrecords.us/videos.html

We have been busy working on promotions for No Saints No Saviors, and the Sonny Moorman Group, on their home sites - Facebook - and MySpace. We also did finally, after many technical setbacks, finish and publish the new home site for Atlas Records in Macon, Georgia...and created a coordinating page for them on Facebook. A link to their new site is now in the Clients area, and there's a Facebook "Like Box" added to their News page of their site, for those that would like to view their site and Facebook page.

We'll be busy tending to the first-of-the-month edits on the sites we manage, and will give you an update as soon as there's news to tell.

We are steadily working on a new home site for Atlas Records, and will have it puiblished soon and post the link in the Clients area.

We also ran promotions for No Saints No Saviors for March and April on their Home, Facebook, and MySpace pages...and on Backpage.com Cincinnati Community Eventrs. There will be some new promotions for them coming up soon, and you can always check their Home site that is hosted on this domain for current news about their shows.

In March we also finished updating all our clients MySpace Music profile pages, including Bob Cushing's. There is now a link to Bob's newly revamped profile on the Clients page.

We are currently making the changeover from our original entertainment organization format. Due to the economic climate, our original format became an unworkable one. So we decided to place our focus more narrowly on helping independent entertainers, venues, and small businesses improve their online presence.

 
MySpace CincyIndies
Not too long ago, MySpace changed the way the member profiles were to be viewed. They no longer permit HTML and CSS layouts to be installed on their site, in order to control member content. We had designed custom layouts for our organization, and for clients, and ALL of them were destroyed with the format changeover. We are currently in the process of familiarizing ourselves with the new format, and attempting to repair clients' profile pages that were affected. Customizations at MySpace profiles are now drastically limited, and we are recommending to limit profile usage there to basic information while referring visitors to corresponding member home sites.

The CincyIndies MySpace profile has been changed to an Artist Directory only. You are still able to visit entertainer profiles from the Greater Cincinnati area, and listien to any music files available through the pop-out media player in our playlists there. We will no longer post events in the calendar area, but will allow event posters and flyers  to be posted in the comment area. All videos will only be viewable at our YouTube Channel. If you are from the Greater Cincinnati area, and have a video you'd like to submit, please send us your video link to videos@cincyindies.org . If you have a new audio recording that you'd like us to add to one of our playlists, please notify us at our MySpace Music account, and send us the name of the song. The song must already be uploaded to your own profile to be added to ours.

We will continue to allow members of our Facebook page to post any events there that they wish to post. However, any posts we make to the page about events will be for clients that are paying us to advertise their events. We will no longer continue to post or propagate events free of charge.
